This is a gripping mystery. It's not slow or boring, it's smart. There's plenty of action and a plot full of unpredictable twists and turns. The characters are fascinating. I've read all of Jesse Kellerman's books. The Genius is his best but this is a good second.
Very slow moving with appealing characters and a "so what" ending.
Wow was this book boring. The characters, the plot (what little of it there is), even the ending were just awful. The only reason I gave it two stars was that the narrator was wonderful. But don't waste your time - this one is a snore.
Jesse Kellerman is the author of two previous novels, "Trouble" and "Sunstroke," His plays have also won several awards, including the 2003 Princess Grace Award, given to Americaas most promising young playwright.
