Overview

From Book News, Inc.
The seventies best-seller tying East (Hinduism, Taoism, and Buddhism) and West (science, namely physics) here includes a new preface and an afterword in which the author reviews the developments of the 25 years since the book's first publication, discusses criticisms of the book, and examines the possibilities for a new world view. Capra received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Vienna and is the founding director of the Center for Ecoliteracy in Berkeley

This subject is very fascinating to me but this book was hard to listen to. I kept falling asleep. I could not finish listening.

Physics + Mysticism = Falling asleep at the wheel

The concepts of this book are surprising and enlightening. The delivery is boring and, unintendidly, will put you into a deep relaxed sleep. Also the physics is fairly basic, if you know the basics of relativity and quantum theory it will all be review for you. This topic is interesting, but this book is boring.

I couldn't stay focused on listening to the book, and I didn't finish it because of this. I've read (listened to) Steven Hawking's Universe in a Nutshell and found it fasinating. but Tao of Physics bored me to tears. I'm glad I stoped reading it in favor of other more interesting books.
