Overview

Two joggers are found murdered in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, and the killings are bizarrely reminiscent of a Washington, D.C. case that Alex Cross has been unable to solve. He is called to San Francisco, and then learns of similar murders in eight cities from Las Vegas to Charleston. Together with a female San Francisco detective, Cross plunges into a menacing world where posing explodes into bloodlust and frenzy, even as he is being stalked by a terrifying criminal who calls himself the Mastermind.

James Patterson is at his most shocking and suspenseful best in a novel that will stun and satisfy his vast audience.

This is one of Patterson's better Alex Cross novels. I've been disappointed by others but if you ever were an Alex Cross fan, you've got to read this one.

As with most James Patterson, I loved the story line, the characters, and the twists. Most importantly to any audio book, the reader was easy to listen to and provided a positive contribution to the overall experience.

Alex Cross does it again! I loved this book. It was so interesting I didn't want to stop listening. However, I forgot to tell you disc 4& 5 were defective but I got enough out of them to know most of what went on.

As always, James Patterson delivers a great thriller!! Murder mystery and suspense. Yes, this is gruesome, but it's still his kind of book - and mine! Get if you're a true fan of James. It's a fast "read" and was over before I knew it.

James Patterson is an award-winning American author. Formerly the chairman of advertising company J. W. Thompson in the early 1990s, Patterson came up with the slogan "Toys R Us Kid." The novels-featuring his character, Alex Cross, a black forensic psychologist formerly of the Washington, D.C.
