Overview

Who Moved My Cheese? Is a simple parable that reveals profound truths about change. It is an amusing and enlightening story of four characters who live in a "Maze" and look for "Cheese" to nourish them and make them happy.

"Cheese" is a metaphor for what you want to have in life -- whether it is a good job, a loving relationship, money, a possession, health, or spiritual peace of mind. And "The Maze" is where you look for what you want -- the organization you work in, or the family or community you live in.

The characters are faced with unexpected change. Eventually, one of them deals with it successfully, and writes what he has learned from his experience on the maze walls.

When you come to see "The Handwriting on the Wall," you can discover for yourself how to deal with change, so that you can enjoy less stress and more success (however you define it) in your work and in your life.

Written for all ages, the story takes a little over an hour to listen to, but its unique insights can last a lifetime.

A Must Read

Not a "must read" like it is so good you cna't afford to miss it, but rather a must read like if you are in managment it is something you almost have no choice but to read. The parable itself is the only value here. Naration is ok, but the other parts make it hard to get to the . . . well . . . cheese.

Good message, poor delivery

The book takes a while to get to the point with many introductions before the actual parable starts. The parable itself although short is somewhat repetitive with many examples repeated. I like the message of being proactive for change, it's just the delivery that was somewhat frustrating.

Wow! What a great small book! It really makes you think about your job, life, etc and how to look at things! The world around is changing so fast, it is so easy to give up. This book shows how best to handle it. I highly recommend you reading this book!

Cheese

This book is pleasantly short. Many self help books drone on about every excrutiating detail. I would have to say that it is a little cheesy making me think of a kid's story to motivate a child into early thinking maturity. Still there are some good points and as I said it's short.

Very entertaining way to receive a great point. This book is worth listening too anytime you feel your world is out of control. Just change the way you think and see things and you will enjoy the new cheese.

Different, not very revolutionary, but might be good for people who have never read anything concerning change in the workplace/ life.
