Don't bother

I must agree with prior post -- this is a horrible book. I usually don't write reviews but this was so bad that i felt I needed to warn others not to bother. I was hoping to find ways to build self esteem for my teenage daughters -- all this book does is look backwards at how your parents screw you up and place blame on them and others. Not one single piece of practical advice is contained in this book. Not one action step to take although there are references to "blueprints for change" they are simply questions, not answers or advice on how to find the answers

This book was aweful. It was so quick to point a finger at one's upbringing rather than offer a solution to low self esteem. I just wanted to learn how to increase my self esteem, not blame someone else for my shortcomings.
