Many of the items here have been touched upon in other books. I found it interesting that Joel feels he needs to reign his wife in or she'll be in jail. (his words not mine). I immediately thought about the airline incident a year or so ago when she was kicked off the plane for being so nasty. The book was OK but not what I thought it would be.

This information presented here was great. If you're used to hearing him preach on TV, this is different. He is calmer and essentially reads the material. Still great to listen to, but it take a little adjusting.

I swear I could listen to Joel Osteen read the telephone book. Aside from his wonderful voice, Joel has some wonderful things to say. We could all use some if not all of his 7 steps somewhere in our lives.

This was a great book for all christians. In fact, I listened to it twice before returning it. And, I intend to rent agian.

I couldn't get through these CD. I am a Christian, but guess I don't believe that God is going to make me rich and powerful. I don't have my problems in my life so this just didn't speak to me. Seems like I could have gotten something from this sermon, but didn't.

I absolutely loved this audio book. Covers just about everything in one's life and the philosophy is so encouraging! Joel has a common-sense approach that is so easy to listen to - so easy to apply to your life. Starts out interesting and just gets better & better. Now I want to listen to all of Joel Osteen's audio books. Most likely I'll buy this one - want to listen to parts of it again and again. My husband loved it too!

I received this book by accident instead of my usual romance book, this was in the sleeve instead. I informed simplyaudiobooks, but in the mean time I decided; let me just listen to whatever this is. I was TOUCHED. I was pretty much a hard person, not really caring so much and taking a lot of things for granted... I look at life in a New Light, and I thank God for giving me this opportunity to realize, I CAN. This is a tool in life that I recommend EVERYONE uses. EXCELLENT. I let my life go without GOD for a long time... and Now I am happy to say, I'm back with him and day by day, I pray I grow stronger. It truly had a huge impact on me.
