It was a nice book. Fiction helped fill in the spaces that history left blank. I'm not certain that it was filled correctly, but that's the beauty of fiction. It was interesting to read accounts of history from a different perspective; why did Moses go to the top of the mount? What was his thought process beforehand? Interesting possibilities were offered. Would recommend this book only for entertainment and if the reader isn't too locked into a certain train of thought.
I enjoyed this book very much, it was very captivating. The story was so well told. I was disappointed, however, to find no mention in the Bible of the death of Zipporah or her 2 sons as told in this story. Well it is true Moses did not enter the promised land, I see no record of his families murder as told in this story. That's a pretty big thing to add.
This is a very interesting, historical, religious story. It is hard to stop listening to these stories. Part 2 was just as interesting as part 1. I am anxious to listen to part 3. I would definely recommend this series.
Absolutely loved it! I really like the different perspective of the story.
We did not like the voice of the reader. We couldn't go pass the first chapter.
I enjoyed this book as much as I did the red tent. What a great book to show the lives of the women of the Bible. I can't wait to read Sarah of Canaan!
