Audiobooks Gift Guide – Part 4 – The Co-Workers

It was fun putting together this list here at Simply Audiobooks HQ, as we all turned to one another and said “Hey, if you were going to get an audiobook for Christmas this year, what book would you want?”. Here’s the list of top books that people would like to give to OR receive from from work associates this year!

For The Co Worker

For pure office humor, Dilbert And the Way of the Weasel by Scott Adams continues to top our list for coworkers. Whether your coworker suffers under the yolk of a PHB (pointy haired boss) or is a squirrely little intern or is a word-dodging dinosaur, they’re bound to find some chuckles here.

The Worst Case Survival Handbook for Work is another of our top picks – teaching valuable lessons like learning how to sneak out of a meeting, getting your tie out of a photocopier, and how to remove a dent from the company car. Not that WE would ever use those skills…. ahem.

The Employee

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People seems to be one of those books that you roll your eyes at… until you read it. Its perhaps a bit over the top for some folks, but still rings with some good advice.

Along the same lines, Dale Carnegie’s classic How to Win Friends and Influence People is the tried and true winner of innumerable “best” lists, and a good choice for most associates.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad has had a series of common sense personal finance books that seem to resonate with our Rental Subscribers, making this one of our top picks of the season.

The Boss

Dunt-duh-DUH! If you’re afraid of giving the wrong gift to the person who signs your paychecks, consider a top business book like Blink:The Power of Thinking Without Thinking or Good to Great to get them geared up for the new year.

Got a boss that likes to “think outside the box”? Try giving your boss First Break All the Rules by Marcus Buckingham to celebrate their innovation. As always, happy shopping!
