Like Baseball? How about an audio book narrated by a Hall of Famer?

Cal Ripken, Jr. who was nicknamed “Iron Man” was a former Major League Baseball shortstop and baseman. Having had a 21-year baseball career playing for the Baltimore Orioles, he has now taken his love for the sport to a whole new world, to his very own audio book entitled Hothead.
Written by Cal Ripken, Jr. himself and Kevin Cowherd, and read by Cal, I thought it was pretty neat that fans of the sport could hear his passion through the narration of the story right from the mouth of their idol.
Imagine if all novels were narrated by the authors themselves, celebrities, sports players, or any type of role model? I think it would entice a whole other audience. When I think about my teen years, I would have loved to get my hands on an audio book narrated by my favorite musicians.
Nonetheless, I think this is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys baseball to discover it in a whole new format, off the baseball diamond, and into an audio book.
