The narration of this novel is excellent. It is easy to follow, and the distinction between characters is notably good. But the book is one of the worst written I've seen/heard. Cook definitely wrote this book in a rush! The writing is sloppy and the plot is full of flaws. I also felt that the ending was a cop-out on Cook's part. The topic of alien abduction is certainly overdone, and Cook provides no new ideas in this book. Needless to say, I listened until the end, as the plot got more and more ridiculous, and I began to wonder if Cook intended the story to be a comedy rather than a thriller.

This book was so spellbinding that my ex is NOT getting it back! The twists and turns at first seem common and then BOOM the outcome is NOT what was expected! The narrator is amazing, taking on different voices tonalities and animation for each character. This is pure fun! Well written and well read. I am purposely not trying to give away the plot because no matter what genre of fiction you like you will not be sorry if you get this book!
