While not as interesting as some of Gladwell's other books, still a good read. Blink started out strong but trailed off considerably and was fairly boring towards the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed Blink. Gladwell is very pleasant to listen to, and the content of the book is interesting and thought provoking. I found the material amazingly accessible. Gladwell and his books are so part of our culture now that it's important to be familiar with them just so that we can understand all the references made to them in our daily lives.
Boring - shipped it back after 2nd disc - didn't even finish it. Its nothing I haven't heard before.
Malcolm Gladwell delivers another. If you liked the tipping point you will love Blink. I thought it was a lot better. I can't wait for his next book.
this book was ok. I would only recommend it to a small group of people.
I am only on Disc 3 and while they seem to skip here and there, this audio book is fascinating! Having studied the power of thought since I was young, I was thrilled to hear all the descriptions of different studies that the author uses. He reads very well. It is easy to understand and not annoying. Very engaging and eye opening material.
My subconscious fell asleep. Thankfully I did not, as I listen on my commute. After the first couple chapters, I got it. Couldn't manage to finish the book.
I enjoyed this book. Gladwell's examples were engaging but if you look at some of the statistical correlations, not as amazing as he presents. Listen to it anyway. I'd really like to believe that we can intuit so much so quickly.
Blink is an incredibly engaging look into the inner workings of all of our minds. What we do, how we do it, and our perceptions of everything around us. It's a completely engaging listen and one I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good think.
This is one of my all time favorite books well-written and well-read.
