This reads like an essay by a high school valedictorian. It has moments. But mostly, it has nothing but pretension. And the author does not do the best job of reading it. The book doesn't do New York justice...

The author reads his book, and he sounds like he's taking himself far too seriously. I love the first story, but the rest go down hill.

Author's voice and manner of reading made me dislike the book. No story line, was more like a rambling poem.
