I really tried to get into this book. It does a great job of describing the man, his life and accomplishments, but it got very reptitive
Enjoyed this a lot. I like Mr. Marshalls voice and style.
What a refreshing tale as passed down from the generations after Crazy Horse. It gives a whole new perspective on the history books we read in school growing up. It makes me cry for the way we (whites) defined and persecuted the Native American. "Personal Note" - I did note that the reader paused mid sentence, as to gather thought. I think it must be a genetic thing as every Native American I've had contact with does the same, including my husband. When listening, keep this in mind. The reader is authentic, and has heart felt feelings for the story told.
JOSEPH M. MARSHALL III is an acclaimed Lakota historian and the author of the bestselling "The Journey of Crazy Horse" and "The Lakota Way,"
