Love this book. I bought the series and other Maya Banks audiobooks. I enjoyed the discussion of \"feelings\'.
No story line, the characters are so forgettable and uncharacteristic , nothing that can keep my interest, too many unnecessary details, too much repetitive "feeling talk" and the narrator is just not good and annoying! He sounds like he was trying too hard which make everything sound so unnatural, heavy and awkward, might have been better if a woman narrates it. Overall I feel like I was listening to a soap opera where everything is overly exaggerated and that the characters are speaking as if they are living in the ancient time even though the setting of the book is of modern day. I regret giving this book a try; if only I can get my money back....
Maya Banks lives in Southeast Texas with her husband and three children. When she s not writing, she loves to hunt and fish, bum on the beach, play poker and travel.
Escaping into the pages of a book is something she s loved to do since she was a child. Now she crafts her own worlds and characters and enjoys spending as much time with them as possible.
