Since its inception in 1994, the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music has established itself as the world's preeminent sacred music event. Sounds True has traveled to Morocco each year since 1996, capturing nearly every note in order to present these unique and often rare recordings to a worldwide audience.
Hamdulillah (HOM doo lee luh), meaning "Praise be to Allah," is part of Sounds True's collection of music from the Fes Festival. From the whirling dervishes of Turkey to Javanese gamelan, this specially-priced two-disc set offers a dramatic and entertaining overview of the best the world has to offer in sacred music.
