Great book, read by the Fabulous 5. Good, general, yet, seemingly detailed tips. They show their trademark humor and simplicity on the outlook of life. Interesting, also, for female readers to get a few generalized tips. Wish it were a bit longer for more tips.
Love the show! Not much too say about the book. It is an on going cook book for everything from food to tuxedo's. It is a self help book for men.
I rented this book because I wanted to see how well the TV show translates to an Audio Book. It doesn't. I love the show, I am not a fan of the book. There are some pocketed pearls of wisdom here on varied topics such as grooming, interior design, food and culture. But you have to wade through a lot of impractical stuff on topics like how to pull of wearing really wide 70's collars, and on keeping a tuxedo in your closet at all times, to find it.
I'm fond of the show, and I enjoyed this audiobook. It's full of generalized information for "everyman". It's hokey, like the show, but it's amusing. Not a blockbuster or groundbreaker, but worth a listen if you like the show.
I enjoyed listening to this. Gave ideas. Interesting perspective.
