Wonderful book! Learned so much history that is never taught in schools.
I listen to books as I knit. This book sounded like one I would enjoy but it wasn't. As I listened I felt it was repetitive and boring. It didn't hold my interest and I didn't finish listening to it. I would not recommend it.
This a great book This is fabulous travelogue of one of the greatest American journeys. His personal insights about his family were most entertaining.
Highly entertaining from both a historical perspective as well as the author's personal note
1/2 of this lengthy book is about the Oregon Trail and the other 1/2 is an autobiography of the author.

A true nature and history buff would love this book.. It is very entertaining and informative... I really enjoyed it
