Over the past fifty years, It's a Wonderful Life has become as much a holiday classic as Thanksgiving dinner turkey and the Christmas tree. It has been woven so tightly into the American holiday fabric that it wouldn't be Christmas unless we saw Jimmy Stewart running down Main Street in Bedford Falls yelling, "Merry Christmas!"

When It's a Wonderful Life first opened in December 1946, it captured five Academy Award nominations for; best picture, best actor, best director, best film fditing, and best sound. It also captured the hearts of millions of Americans even now and continue to do so.

Pretty good

Nice stories of the making of the movie - some interesting trivia and history. The interviews were cool and painted a very mixed picture of Frank Capra. If you are a HUGE fan of the movie and trivia - you'll enjoy this book.

This was an "ok" thing to listen to while driving, and fortunately it was short. If you're an old movie fan, or a fan of "It's a Wonderful Life" I doubt that you'll hear anything new in this. So it passed the time during my commute, but that's the best I can say about it.

Perfect for Christmas.

Every time you listen to this CD an angel gets its wings. Very good lots of little known information, as well as the origin of the story, if you loved the movie this is a definite must have funny and touching perfect for the Christmas season.

Nice listen for movie trivia buffs

Enjoyable listen for any movie buff. Lots of backstage information, despite the fact that the author was a child when he acted in the film and was only on set for two weeks. Jimmy has become the defacto expert on the film, and interviewed most of the people who worked in front of and behind the camera. Supplemented with audio of interviews with Frank Capra and others, it's a good choice.
