The first mega-bestseller of 1995! Detective Alex Cross is back in a coast-to-coast thriller that's even scarier and more suspenseful than Along Came A Spider.

Two depraved serial killers are on the loose. "Casanova" is abducting young women from colleges in the Southwest.

The "Gentleman Caller" is terrorizing Los Angeles.

The worst part is, the FBI thinks they're talking to each other. They seem to be competing. And they may even be working together. But at least one of them has made a serious miscalculation.

The favorite niece of Washington D. C., police detective Alex Cross has been kidnapped. Burned out after his last case, Cross is in no mood to take on another killer. But now he has no choice. This time it's personal.

Abridged? Better to have skipped this!

Don't ever read an abridged book! The story and characters are all over the place. It felt more like I was reading an outline instead of a book.

As always, Alex Cross never fails to entertain me.

abridged is horrible

It sure seemed like this is a good story. However, I think this abridged version is a bit too abridged. There are many points at which the scene changes very abruptly. Some major points were revealed in a few lines and it certainly felt like there was way too much left out. I usually don't get abridged versions, but since the full length was not available I gave it a shot. I was sorry I did.

This was my first Alex Cross novel and I really enjoyed it. I will read more of the same for sure. The plot was captivating and the killers were the night-marish type. Good book!!

Another Alex Cross success. I would rather had a longer, unabridged version but this one was good anyway.

It was very interesting and exciting. Made a long trip in the car very much shorter. I am a fan of Alex Cross.

This Alex Cross book was awesome and fast paced. I prefer the books read by Peter Fernandez, but Chris Noth and Robert G. did an good job.

Kiss the Girls and Honeymoon are Patterson's best novels. I highly recommend them. Edge of seat, nail-biting thriller.
