Assasins by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, is the 6th suspenseful chronicle of those left behind after the rapture. In this book 1/3 of the world is destroyed by 200 million demonic horsemen. This time the believers, in Christ, can see them and they do a suprise attack on the non-believers. The best part of the book, is when Carpathia figures out when the Witnesses are to be the most vunerable and goes to them and shoots them, point blank. He then proceeds to have a conference to announce that once again he is god and look what he has the power to do, but instead meets up with an assasin, who gets a clear shot and shoots him; an eye for an eye... He does bleed red, blood, evidently and is having a hard time breathing. Also, it seems that the Witnesses aren't actually dead, they keep rising, floating, into the air.

This story continues to keep me intrigued. Being a woman of faith this series keeps me wanting to hear more and disturbs me at the same time.
