This book had some good ideas on certain topics, as far as though process on serving your clients and the proper mentality of a consultant vs. an employee. For the new consultant this audiobook is great. It also comes from a management consulting experience. for It consulting, many of the facts and recommendations were not an exact fit. Overall good to hear atleast once in your consulting life. Roland

Practical and Useful

Although this book wasn't written in the last few years, the information in it is not archaic or out of date. I found the discussion of the steps in the consulting process and how to recognize and deal with resistance to change extremely useful. Recognizing and dealing with resistance to change is key to consulting success and Block offers practical, useful examples I was able to easily recognize and transfer to my own situations.
