Overview

Garion has slain the evil God Torak and been crowned King of Riva. The Prophecy has been fulfilled--or so it seems. I just like these books. They can be a bit slow moving at times, but all in all, they are great books.

This is a good book to listen to if you've never read the series. I've been a fan of David Eddings for years. I've got all the books in hardback and I've read them numerous times. It was wonderful to hear the voices and descriptions that I've read come to life. The only problem I had is the reader gave different pronunciations to names and places than the ones I had using. It was very distracting the first few times you hear a "different" name, and I had to "re-wind" the CD a few times to make sure I had heard correctly.
