While I tired of Richmond's lengthy discourses on memory and guilt, I have to admit I listened to all 11 CD's in rapid succession anxious to learn the outcome of the story. "The Year of Fog" plays into every parent's greatest fear of having their child disappear. Richmond explores the emotions in a very authentic and ultimately satisfying novel.

The story line was excellent and, indeed, beautifully told. I did not want to put this book down and hated for it to end. I would highly recommend this book and the narration was A+++++++.

I loved this book. I predicted the outcome, but it was terrifying to finally get there!
